Lushan Geopark covers an area of 500km2 and is famous for the geological landscapes and geological sections as its main types of geological heritages. It has a total of more than 100 important glacial geological heritages which have been discovered so far in Lushan Mountain. The graceful Lushan Mountain is also called the "Park of All Nations" and the "World Village".

The Botanical Garden was firstly established in 1943, which is the only inferior high mountain botany in China. There are more than 3000 types of Chinese and foreign plants in the garden, and it has been accepted as a member of IUCN in the late 1980s.
The Botanical Garden covers an area of 300 hectares and contains some 3,400 species of rare plants cultivated in eleven display areas according to their communities and ecosystems. The garden is characterized by its pines and azaleas. Visitors will not miss the 300 varieties of azaleas which are planted in the garden and look like a colourful brocade in blossom. To a surprise to all, one of local specialties -Lushan Cloud and Mist Tea is also planted and picked here originally. In addition, there are more than 300 kinds of herbs planted in the dedicated Herb Garden.

The mouth-like valley stands in the place where Five-Old -Man peaks and Hanyang peaks meet. The valley gained the name because it is like a mouth to swallow vast lake water. On the slope of the mountain, there are Han Po pavilion and Wangpo pavilion, which are in harmony with the spectacle of the lakes and mountains.
From Han Po Valley, visitors get to see the spectacular view of the Mount Lushan as well as the highest peak of mountain named “Great Hanyang” Peak (1474 Metres) and the biggest freshwater lake “Poyang Lake”. Fans of trekking may also consider taking up the amazing “Han Po Pass Geo-tour Trail” that covers area of glacial slopes, Botanical Garden, Reed Grove Lake and other scenic spots.

This charming Lulin Lake is located in the southern part of the Lushan Geopark and was built in 1955 by piling up the dyke and building the bridge. This area covers 130,000 square meters and water take up to 1,200,000 square meters. Surrounded by the mountains, the lake and the mountains set each other off. The rainbow-like bridge and mirror-like water making it a beautiful and spectacular nature.
Time to have a blast in Lulin Lake which is surrounded by mountains, beautiful pine trees and cypresses. It was originally a reed planted with wild animals. Take a stroll surround the Lulin Bridge which was built on the dam surface of the Lulin Lake. With a volume of 30,000 cubic meters, the dam with its five bridge holes becomes a magnificent artificial waterfalls when water flows.

The most famous waterfall spills over three glaciation-formed, natural terraces to the pool. The Three Steps Waterfall is considered one of the greatest highlights of Mount Lushan. A local saying - any visit to Lushan is incomplete without seeing Three Steps Waterfall with their own eyes.

The White Deer Cave Academy (Bailudong Academy) was built in 1940 and is located onMount Lushan’s slopes, named after the poet Li Bo (not to be confused with the famous poet Li Bai), who raised white deer here. It is one of the greatest educational institutions in premodern world of China with the other three being Yuelu Academy in Yuelu Mountain, Changsha, Hunnan Province; Songyang Academy in Songshan Mountain, Henan Province and Yintian Academy in Nanjing city, Jiangsu Province.
Today, White Deer Cave Academy is well known for its cultural relic management, as well as tourist spots for academic research, tourism and construction of forest gardens. Visitors may also witness the series of measures to protect and repair the academy through its restoration initiatives by the government.

The Five-Old-Man Peak (Wulao Peaks) is located at the southeast side of Mount Lushan and is a famous peak with an elevation of 1,436 meters. The peak is named after the fact that the summit of the peak was split into five separate peaks. Seen from the base of the mountain, the five peaks look like five old men sitting on the ground. Visitors are advised to get the best picturesque view of sunrise and sunset at Wulao Peaks on Mount Lushan.
It is towering against the sky at the Poyang Lake with lofty precipice stretching miles away. The five peaks appear in different views when seen from different angles. Some look like fishermen fishing; others look like old monks sitting cross-legged. Of the five peaks, the second peak stands out the most because of its oddly-shaped rocks; the third peak is the most dangerous, the fourth peak the most beautiful and the fifth is open and relatively expansive. At the foot of Wulao Peaks lies the most famous sight on Mount Lushan, The Three Steps Waterfall.

Lake Poyang is China's largest fresh-water lake and serves as a natural reservoir to regulate the water level of the Yangtze River. It stretches 170 kilometers from north to south, and spans 74 kilometers, with an area of 3,960 square kilometers.
There are many tourist attractions on the picturesque lake, which is especially attractive for the natural reserve of migrants of 150 species. One can enjoy the natural beauty of the migrant reserve as well as local flavours by the lake. Lake Poyang area is renowned for being a "land of rice and fish", and endowed with a vast beautiful lake and exquisite mountains.
Located close to the Wucheng township in Yongxiu County of Jiangxi Province, Lake Poyang Migratory-birds Reserve is a swamp of the lake formed by a dozen of marshes, ponds, bends, streams, branching lakes etc., covering an area of about 90 square kilometers. The zone with rich growths of grass and abundant water and aquatic products is the largest winter habitat for migratory-birds in the world.

Stone Bell Hill (Shizhong Shan) is located in Shuangzhong Town,Hukou County, Jiujiang City in Jiangxi Province. On the confluence of the Yangtze River and the Poyang Lake, the hill is surrounded by water on three sides and is connected to bank on the fourth.
As on one side of the hill is the Lake Ppyang which is green, and on the other side is the Yangtze River which is yellow, the hill presents people with a kaleidoscopic view of changing colors. Many literary giants in ancient China have left some calligraphy masterpieces carved upon the stone. Some of the most precious works can be dated back to Tang Dynasty. The most mysterious thing about Stone Bell Hill is the sound which visitors can hear on the mountain. No one can explain the cause of the sound.

Getting there: Take a shuttle bus from Jiujiang Long Distance Bus Station and get to Hukou County. From there, the tourists can take public bus to the Stone Bell Hill.

Dragon Head Cliff (Longshou Ya) is a craggy cliff in the west of Mount Lushan. It is named after its resemblance to a dragon perched and ready to take flight. Esteemed poet Li Bai in Tang Dynasty once mentioned that it looked like a dragon and so the name was formed.
Dragon Head Cliff offers an awe-inspiring view out over the Jiangxi plains below. Standing at the top, one can enjoy a bird's eye view of the Tiechuan Peak and listen to the surfing wind of the pine forest mingled with roaring waterfalls in the Stone Gate Ravine. The natural rock platform that forms the dragon's head protrudes over the edge of the cliff levels out a sight that will probably inspire wobbly knees of fellow tourist.
